Be free from religion!

Have you ever noticed that whenever there is any mention of Christianity or the church, for most people what comes to mind is the ten commandments, the rules and regulations? Especially the ones you struggle to observe, immediately many cower away from God fearing the condemnation and perceived wrath of God to come.

What if I told you today that Jesus came to undo that very same religious mentality and view of God that had been created by the teaching of the law? Did you know that the salvation and relationship with God that we are offered through Christ has nothing to do with your ability to adhere to any part of the law? This is why it is good news!

Galatians 2: 21 ( NLT )

I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.

Above are the words of the Apostle Paul, he emphatically declares that there is no amount of keeping the law that can make you right with God. This is why Jesus came to do what you could not do, so that on His account you can now have that right standing with God when you choose to accept and acknowledge that His sacrifice was for you.

Romans 5: 1

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

Freedom and peace with God is actually FREE! The only requirement is faith in Jesus Christ, there is no longer a burden to keep the law, when Christ came it was done away with. Isn’t that such a relief? It is good news indeed! You can now be free from religion and enjoy the life that Christ came to give without any fear or condemnation.

Ephesians 2: 15

He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.

When you accept Jesus as the Lord of your life there is only one law that applies to you and that is love and faith. There is nothing done in love that can ever be sin, there is nothing done in faith that can ever be sin. I know that this is exactly what you have been waiting for and yes it is in your bible! This is the good news that many gave their lives to get to you and you do not have to wait another moment.

Right now with a very simple and short prayer you too can make Jesus the Lord of your life and enjoy this freedom from sin and religion, here is what the scripture says;

Romans 10: 9

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Right now, I what you to say this prayer from your heart and mean every word and God almighty in heaven will record this day as the day of your salvation.

Prayer of Salvation

Father God, I believe in my heart Jesus Christ died for me and my sins and that you raised him from the dead. I make him Lord of my life today and receive the free gift of eternal life into my spirit. I am a child of God, I am now born again. Amen!
