Extravagant Love

Hey my loves, did you know God gets so over the top with his emotions for us. He literally goes beyond the extreme with his love for us. He was consumed with love that he was willing to sacrifice his own son in order for you and I to be a part of his family, for us to call him Father.

I love my dad so very dearly, but growing up I wasn’t as close to my dad as I would have wanted to be, and I grew up thinking he didn’t love me. The enemy took advantage of that void that had been created to make me think I was not worth anything and I was not good enough. Little did I know that my dad was doing his best to push me to be the best and prepare me for adulthood. That unfortunately caused me to have low self-esteem, feelings of worthlessness and that I could never be anything let alone achieve anything in life.

All those feelings caused me to think I was unloved and unaccepted. But all those feelings the day God found me were overshadowed and taken over by his intense and overwhelming love. He came into my life with such an encapsulating love. I felt like God loved only me in the whole world. He restored my relationship with my dad and I am enjoying getting to know my dad in a more deeper way.

Now, you might not know who God is and maybe you feel like I want to experience this love. He wants to you know him and to have and share in this unconditional and extravagant love that he showed us when he separated himself from his beloved son,  causing him to die for you and I, taking our place on the cross so that we could become his unconditionally and extravagantly loved children.
